MEDIATION SERVICES

​Gregory Firestone is a Florida Supreme Court certified Family, Circuit Court, Appellate, Dependency and County Court Mediator; an Association for Conflict Resolution Family Mediation Advanced Practitioner; and a Diplomate Member of the Florida Academy of Professional Mediators.  He also serves on the American Arbitration Association Mediation Panel.

Experience

For more than 30 years, Greg has been mediating a wide range of disputes including divorce, circuit court, business, healthcare, dependency, ADA, and other types of disputes.   He has been a pioneer in many of these areas and has been widely recognized for his leadership in the field of alternative dispute resolution.  For approximately twenty-five years Greg also practiced as a clinical psychologist and in 2006 Greg closed his psychology practice so that he could focus his efforts entirely in the field of alternative dispute resolution.  He now mediates cases that are court ordered as well as cases where the parties have sought to resolve their disputes prior to filing any action in court.

Mediation Qualifications

​Greg is a Florida Supreme Court certified Appellate, Circuit Court, Dependency and Family Mediator.  He is a Diplomate Member of the Florida Academy of Professional Mediators and is recognized nationally as an Association for Conflict Resolution Family Mediation Advanced Practitioner.  He also serves on the American Arbitration Association Mediation Panel

Innovative Mediation Program Leadership

Greg was the mediation program consultant for the Florida Medicare Beneficiary Mediation Program and for about seven years mediated complaints filed by Medicare patients with their healthcare provider, hospital or nursing home.  Since 2010 he has directed the Residential Mortgage Mediation Program in conjunction now with the American Arbitration Association.
